March 2011 - Mt. Bachelor, Oregon On Wednesday, we arrived at Mt. Bachelor after a 30 minute shuttle ride to a raging blizzard. Fortunately, our personal group of Mountain Ambassadors greeted us at our bus and quickly took us under their wings. They showed us to the rental facilities and day lodge where we got prepared for our first experience skiing a volcano. |

February 2011 - Aspen, Colorado The Power of Four Delivered!!! Once again, the Dallas Ski Club made its annual trek to Aspen – marking I believe the 44th trip – since the tradition started. We skied all 4 mountains and enjoyed some of the most incredible snow that we’ve had in the last two decades. Our members who drove to Aspen can attest to the “incredible” snow which also produced treacherous driving – but everyone eventually made it with great war stories to share at the Welcome Party! |

January 2011 - Bad Gastein, Austria Twenty five of our worldly Club members departed for “holiday” to the quaint village of Bad Gastein located in the Austrian Alps. Our goal was to indulge in the “spa experience”, parlay our monies at the Casino, and ski the surrounding mountain resorts. |

January 2011 - Beaver Creek, Colorado Right after New Years 28 hardy souls ventured to Beaver Creek Colorado in search of winter adventures. I’m pleased to say they found some. Departing Dallas via Southwest Airlines we arrived in Denver for our icy three-hour bus trip up the mountain. Fortunately we packed wine ((Bags Fly Free!) for the bus. |

December 2010 - Big White, British Columbia On December 11, thirteen of the DSC’s finest and bravest members ventured forth to British Columbia in Canada to a destination that the club had never before tried –BIG WHITE MOUNTAIN! It lived up to its name as the place is BIG. It truly is a place that I recommend we book again in the next couple of years for the club to return to. |

November 2010 - Breckenridge, Colorado DSC and LSS JOIN FORCES FOR A GREAT THANKSGIVING The Breckenridge locals are still raving about the awesome snow and wonderful ski conditions over the Thanksgiving Holiday. Twenty four skiers from the Dallas Ski Club and Lone Star Skiers had the opportunity to ski some of the best snow conditions in late November in more than 30 years. |

September 2010 - EGYPT 72 Dallas Ski Club members headed for the Middle East for a river boat cruise up the ancient Nile River where Cleopatra and Mark Anthony once sailed. We toured the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens, and pushed our way past dozens of peddlers selling just about everything but a kitchen sink!
