The Dallas Ski Club Ring of Honor Award was established in 1982 to give special recognition to members who have made an outstanding contribution to the club's success over many years.  Selection to the Dallas Ski Club Ring of Honor is made by a committee composed of existing members of the honorary group in cooperation with the current Club President.  New inductees are introduced to the Club at the annual Changing of the Guard in April and featured in the following year's directory.  The Ring of Honor trophy bears the following inscription:  "For Outstanding Service and Devotion to the Club's Ideals".  To date, twenty Club members have been selected for inclusion in the DSC Ring of Honor.
