Lake Texhoma Fishing Trip

The Sunday fishing trip began with a wonderful Saturday night stay at the Tanglewood Resort. The resort is on Lake Texoma with a view of the lake from our rooms. We started with a lengthy happy hour in the resorts cozy lounge, were we also watched the Longhorns football game. We followed this with dinner. A 5:00am wake up call started Sunday morning, since we had to be at the dock at 6:00am. What a gorgeous sunrise we had, followed by a warm beautiful day on the lake. Through out the day we would fish at different locations on the lake. Sometimes following large groups of birds to where they were feeding on the fish. We each caught ten to twenty fish, and this is no fish story. Of course of leader and champion fisherman, Ray Sims, caught the biggest fish of all. Our boat captains cleaned and packaged all our fish. This made for delicious dinners back home. After a late lunch overlooking the lake, we headed back to Dallas.
